Looks like Baby # 2 is a boy

By the top picture he is guessing its a boy.

Yesterday I went in for my doctors appointment thinking it would be just the routine procedure of having a sonogram to quickly check the health of my baby, and the doctor immediately said "Oh! I know what you are having. Do you want to know?" Of course I said yes, which was quickly followed by a no because Jake wasn't with me. After all, I wasn't planning on the doctor being able determine the sex at only 12w 2d. Then I decided I had to know because with our insurance changing who knew when we would get the chance to see a doctor next. The doctor told me it was a boy and confirmed it with the baby in 2 different positions (one of which you can see in the first sonogram above). Because Iam so early I will still have to confirm the gender in about a month with another sonogram, but for now it looks like baby # 2 is going to be Elijah Brody.

Jacob making mama breakfast in bed

Today I slept in and woke up to breakfast in bed. Jake made eggs, bacon and hash browns, and Jacob made the muffins (which he called cupcakes). I am so blessed and a little spoiled too.

Spirit Week 2009

This week was spirit week at school. Monday was era day- I was the 80s. Tuesday was green day in honor of St. Patricks Day. Wednesday was sports day. Thursday was fashion disaster day. Friday was School Color and rally day. At the rally 4 lucky teachers, me being one of them, were chosen to participate in cheesy face. As you can see from the pictures cheesy face is where our faces were covered in whip cream and kids throw cheese puffs at our face and see who can stick the most. My team won!!! Haha

Cheers to 4 years!

Today is our four year wedding anniversary. It is hard to believe that we have already been married for four years! We celebrated by going out to dinner at Dave Wongs (one of our favorites). My parents watched Jacob so we could celebrate with just the two of us. We had such a nice dinner together. It has been such an incredible journey being married to my best friend. In only 4 years of marriage we have lived in 2 houses, become parents to our wonderful son Jacob, and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby # 2 in the fall. We are extremely blessed to have each other and I can't wait to see what God has in store for us in the coming years of our marriage.

I am 26 today!!!

Well, it's official-- I'm closer to 30 than 20 now. I don't know how I feel about that, but I did have a fabulous birthday! Although it was the first time I have had to work on my birthday I did have a great day. Jacob (and my mom) brought me a balloon and lunch at work. I also celebrated by going to Olive Garden for dinner with Jake and Jacob and my parents. Our meals were great and it was nice to spend time with my family. I got lots of giftcards and money so I can go shopping :). Overall, I am very thankful for the many blessing in my life and can only hope for many more years filled with health and happiness.

Today Aimee and I took the boys to Lodi Lake to play at the park. They had a good time and it was nice to get out of the house.

San Francisco

Today we went to San Francisco for the day. We started off at Pier 39 and took Jacob to the aquarium. He loved the sharks and Sting Rays. After, he wanted to ride the carousel. Then we went to see the Sea Lions. Afterward, we went to lunch at the Rainforest Cafe which was Jacob's favorite part of the trip. He loved watching all the animals come to life as we ate lunch. He didn't want to leave. After lunch we headed to Lombard Street and then to the Golden Gate Bridge to take some pictures. We had such a great day and couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather.
