Jake and I were able to get away for the weekend and go to Tahoe for the weekend with our friends Stacey and Arron. While in Tahoe, we saw Alan Jackson in concert! The weather was beautiful, the cabin was cozy, and we couldn't have asked for a more relaxing weekend!

Santa Cruz Fun!

Yesterday, my mom, and I helped Kyle move back to Santa Cruz so we decided to make a day of it! After getting Kyle all moved in we headed to the beach for a couple of hours. Jacob loved the ocean just as much as he did last year! He had so much fun "playing tag" with the waves and playing in the warm sand. Uncle Kyle even taught him to surf which Jacob pronounces "nurf." Later, Justin, Aimee, and Asher arrived and met us for lunch. After doing a little bit of shopping we headed to the boardwalk to kill time and let the traffic die down. We took Jacob on some of the rides. He especially loved going on the train with Uncle Justin and the dragons with Auntie MoMo.

Swim Lesson with John

Jacob loves swim lessons! He talks about his swim coach John all the time....He decided today that he "no like Katie" and when I asked him why he he cries with her he says because he wants John :)

Swim Lessons

Today Jacob started swim lessons with John Griffin (the same coach who coached me when I was little)! He loves the water and we are always at our friends house who have a pool so we figured we'd give it a shot! Jacob loved it. He blew bubbles and learned to kick. After 20 minutes he wanted Mama which made it hard for Nini and I to watch.
