Khloe's Birth Announcement

Khloe Brooke is here!

Our little Khloe Brooke was born May 10, 2011 at 1:42 p.m. She weighed 7 lb 14 oz and was 19 1/2 inches! What a perfect little blessing and addition to our family ♥

Mother's Day 2011

This year was perhaps the best mother's day I have had so far. This was the first year Jacob was really into going all out for mother's day so it was special. I woke up to a lovely breakfast made by Jake and Jacob. Jacob also painted me an adorable tile at preschool. As if that wasn't enough to melt my heart, Jacob insisted that he and daddy go and buy me a bouquet of flowers. Jake being the awesome dad he is woke Jacob up nice and early and took him to pick out a bouquet. The look on Jacob's face when I came to the breakfast table was priceless. He was so proud. I am so lucky to have such loving kids. It is hard to believe in just 2 short days I will be a mom to 3. I am blessed.

Hallie's Big Girl Bed

A little sooner than I was ready, Hallie decided it was time for a big girl bed. At 19 1/2 months, right when new baby sister Khloe arrived, Hallie started sleeping in her toddler bed. She loves Minnie Mouse so she usually starts the night off in her bed, but about halfway through the night she ends up in our room. At least we are off to a good start.

Jacob's 5th Birthday Party

This year Jacob wanted a Sonic themed bowling party so he celebrated his birthday with friends and cousins at Pacific Bowl. We had his party a few weeks early since Khloe was due close to his real birthday and we have a wedding on his actual birthday weekend. All of the kids enjoyed bumper bowling and even some of the parents bowled on their own lane. After bowling, we headed to the party room where we had pizza and cupcakes and opened presents. Jacob had a blast!
