Pumpkin Patch 2011
While on fall break we decided to take advantage of our opportunity to go to the pumpkin patch during the week to beat the crowd and just in case baby Presley decides to grace us with her presence later in the week. I'm sure this wont be our only trip out to Phillips Farms this year as we typically go a couple of times. Little Coco slept through most of her first trip to the pumpkin patch, but we managed to wake her for a couple of pumpkin photo ops. Jacob and Hallie especially love petting the animals. This year their were baby goats and bunnies. The kids always enjoy walking through the pumpkin patch and revisiting the familiar characters along the way (some of which have been there since I was a kid). Every year Jacob talks about how he is not going to be scared of the pirate maze and the big bad wolf so we were anxious to see if he really was brave enough this year. To our surprise he was not afraid of the wolf lurking behind the door; the pirate maze, however, was a different story. Auntie Ewey and I tried to lure Jacob in but after a few steps he started to scream and run back the way he came in. I can't say I blame him as their scenes have gotten pretty creepy.

Khloe is 5 months
Our little Coco is already 5 months. Where does the time go? At 5 months she is babbling up a storm and definitely wont let anyone forget she is in the room. She just started eating peas and loves them. I am sure she will be sitting up on her own in no time. We laugh because Khloe always has to know what is going on, so she hates to just kick back and recline even when someone is holding her. She tries to sit up so she can take everything in. Khloe constantly chews on her hand or sucks her thumb. She is such a happy girl and loves to laugh at her silly big brother and sister. Khloe is such a little love and we are so very blessed.
Mud Mill
Fall Break is here and with it came the rain (on Monday at least), so we took advantage of this time to go paint pottery at the Mud Mill. Jacob chose a cute penguin and Hallie wanted to paint a puppy. I painted a platter with Jacob and Hallie's hand prints and Khloe's foot print. What fun memories with my babies!

Hallie Girl is 2
Our sweet Hallie is 2 years old! At her 2 year check up she weighed 23 lbs 4 oz (which is in the 9th percentile) and was 2 ft 9 1/2 inches tall. She is our little peanut! We were excited that this check up did not include any immunizations. These days Hallie knows most of her colors, can count to 10 in English and Korean (thanks to watching Jacob's karate lessons), and rarely goes a moment without talking. She is our sweet little chatter box and quite a character. We can't wait until she is old enough to put in karate too as she already knows the stance forms which Jacob does as a yellow belt. Hallie also loves to sing songs and dance. Her favorite song is "Oh little playmate" which Nini taught her. She also loves to watch Rio, Little Mermaid, My Little Ponies, Tangled, Nemo and Gnomeo and Juliet. A few nights ago Jake let Hallie and Jacob have popcorn and watch a movie in our bedroom. They watched Shrek which was Hallie's first time seeing it. A couple of days later at rest time I asked the kids which movie they wanted to watch and Hallie kept telling me "Trek." It took me a while to figure out she was trying to say Shrek. Hallie still loves to tell me "You my best friend Mama" which melts my heart every time even though I know sometimes she does it because she wants something. What a blessed 2 years it has been! I thank God each and everyday for my little girl because I know he gave her to me to make me smile and laugh!
