Yesterday we took a day trip to Santa Cruz to visit Uncle Kyle and hang out on the beach. Justin, Aimee, Asher and my mom joined us. Jacob has been asking to go to the beach and play in the sand. He had a great time running from the waves, building sand castles, dragging seaweed and getting buried in the sand. He told us when we were leaving that he was sad he had to leave the beach! Asher on the other hand preferred to stay on the blanket close to the food. Anytime someone tried to walk him down by the water he would cry. The blanket was much safer and had its perks since he could make the rounds eating everyone's sandwich, crackers, and snacks. We had a great time and can't wait to go back.
